How to choose the right bar of soap and candles...

The bars are hand-cut which means that some of them may be imperfect or a little uneven, a little bit rough around the edges, but so were the notorious people from the gold rush, darling, they had to be in order to survive and thrive up here.

On some bars there is a white film on the bottom, it's actually only backing soda, but, many soap makers remove it, we choose to leave it, it's part of the soap and is a natural occurrence while curing. It will wash off with its first use.
